When our children were born, I knew that sleep training would be key for us. We sleep trained both of our children, who slept through the night at 12 weeks and 15 weeks. I can’t tell you how freeing it was to know each night we’d have 12 uninterrupted hours, and to have set nap hours during the day to use for work, hobbies, or even napping ourselves. I saw so many of my friends struggle with wild schedules, lack of naps, late bedtimes, and general exhaustion and it really bothered me, because it just doesn’t have to be that way. …I’m probably going for a run, playing Hot Wheels with my two boys, or sneaking in a solo Target trip like it’s a spa day. I’m a big fan of crossword puzzles, being outside, endless cups of tea, and learning all I can about baby sleep, so I can pass that onto you!
